I thought it about time that I updated this journal, now that some of the 'First' anniversaries have now passed, since last April, when Janice finally surcommed to her illness. It has been a hard struggle to keep going though these events, especially knowing there are more yet still to come, but we, as a family are there for each other when needed, and are managing to survive. Last September 23rd (as it happens a very poignant day, namely my first birthday in 34 years without Janice), I did a sponsored walk for one of the other two charities that I now support as much as I can, and managed to raise £168.00 despite only registering a week beforehand!!. The walk raised, with the help of a kind beneficiary, who matched pound for pound raised for the new hospice homecare scheme, some £24k. Through selling some other goods, such as handmade candles, aromatherapy oils and a few other such items, I have managed to raise another £301.65p from the profits. I will soon be able to send these cheques, each for 1/3rd of this amount, to this and the other two charities. Not a huge amount, but I am sure any amount helps. Well thats all for now, but I will be back to add another journal entry soon. Paul
